The PRESS Forward MMA youth classes are belted programs that teach life values as well as martial arts. We place emphasis on our 6 core values: Respect, Discipline, Responsibility, Confidence, Hard Work, and the Golden Rule. Youth MMA is practiced for self-defense, anti-bullying, fun fitness, and even competition.
Lil Soldiers 4-6yr. old class is a 30 minutes consisting of the fundamentals of martial arts and fun games.
The Lil Soldiers 7-12yr. old class is a hour long consisting of striking, grappling, light sparring, and fun games.
Teens MMA 13-17yr. old class is an hour long consisting of more situational training and sparring.
The PRESS Forward No-Gi BJJ class is a no gi jiujitsu system developed by Mr. Cheeks
(Prof. Draculino Purple Belt).
The PRESS Forward Fitness kickboxing is a group fitness class that teaches REAL martial arts techniques to perform on heavy bags or mitts. After rounds on the bags or the mitts follows a calisthenics and abdominal workout. This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. This class will help you build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle. Fitness Kickboxing is practiced for fitness and self-defense.
The PRESS Forward MMA adult classes teaches MMA for self defense, general fitness, and even competition. Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a contact sport that allows a wide range of fighting techniques including striking, kicking, and grappling (wrestling & submissions). Persons with any skill level are welcome and able to participate along side amateur and professional fighters.
Strength & Conditioning
The PRESS Forward MMA Strength and Conditioning program is specifically designed to increase the athletic performance for combat athletes (mma, wrestling, karate, boxing, jiujitsu, judo etc.). This program involves 30 minutes of mobility and stretching, 45 minutes of strength and power, and a 15 minute cardio push. There is also a meal plan that is available created by certified fitness nutritionist, Coach Dom, and a registered dietitian (Brandy Rawls). This meal plan will aid those athletes looking to retain energy while cutting weight for competition, increase of energy and performance levels.
